Copper castings are used in the production of copper and copper alloy products, and the quality of copper castings determines the quality of copper alloy parts. Therefore, the processing quality of copper castings is of particular concern. For this, there are also very strict standards in the industry to test the chemical composition and mechanical properties of copper castings.

　　 The chemical composition, the inspection method, inspection rules and re-inspection of the chemical composition of the copper alloy shall meet the requirements of GB/T15115. The sample of the chemical composition can also be taken from the die casting, but it must meet the requirements of GB/T15115.

　　Mechanical performance The testing method, testing frequency and testing rules of mechanical performance should meet the requirements of GB/T15115.

　　 When the die casting body is used as the sample, the size and test form of the cut part shall be negotiated by the supplier and the buyer.

　　 The inspection of the geometric dimensions of die castings can be carried out according to the batch inspection or according to the provisions of GB2828 and GB2829, and the inspection results should meet the provisions of 3.3 of this standard.

　　 The ex-factory inspection of the surface quality of die castings shall be inspected piece by piece, and the inspection results shall meet the requirements of this standard.

　　The surface roughness of die castings shall be implemented in accordance with the provisions of GB/T6060.1.

　　The surface of die castings to be polished shall be implemented in accordance with the regulations of GB/T6060.4

　　The surface of die-casting parts that need to be shot blasted and sandblasted shall be implemented in accordance with GB/T6060.5.

　　 The test methods and inspection rules for the internal quality of die castings may include: X-ray photographs, non-destructive testing, metallographic pictures, and die casting profiles, etc. The inspection results should meet the requirements of 3.4.6 of this standard.

　　Other test methods and inspection rules shall be implemented in accordance with GB/T15114.
